Dear Parents/Guardians of Buhl Middle School 8th graders:
The end of the 2024/2025 school year is fast approaching. We are planning a celebration for the 8th grade class and need your help.
The 8th Grade Recognition Night will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 6:00 pm and will be held at the Buhl High School Auditorium. Students are to be dressed nicely. Please follow the school dress code and dress appropriately. Students need to be at the High School Auditorium by 5:30 pm.
For the recognition, we are putting together a slideshow. We are asking for some fun pictures of individuals, groups of friends/classmates or old team photos that you may have of your student. Please get them to the school office by Friday, April 25th or you can email them to buhlclassof2029@gmail.com. Please have them labeled so that we can get them returned to you.
Immediately following the ceremony there will be bowling and food and Sunset Bowl from
7:30 - 9:30. Students will need a ride to the bowling alley following the recognition and picked up promptly at 9:30. They will not be allowed outside or to leave without a responsible adult to pick them up. We also need several parents to help chaperone this event at the bowling alley. If you are willing to help, please call/text Nicole Ormond at (208) 206-7133 and she will get you on the list. Thank you in advance for your help.
The cost is $10 per student. This will cover the cost of bowling, pizza and drinks for each student. Any extra money will be deposited into the class account for future activities of the class of 2028. Please remit the $10 (cash only) to Mrs. Hunsaker in the BMS office by Friday, May 3rd so that your student can participate. If your student cannot attend due to financial reasons, please contact us in confidence. We have scholarships available. If you know of a business or an individual who would like to donate additional funds, checks may be made payable to BHS Class of 2029 and are greatly appreciated.
