BSD End of Year Plans

The last day of school for students is May 29th.


Below you can find the timeline for turning in assignments, cleaning out lockers, turning in school items (computers, textbooks, etc.) for each school. Please contact the school if you need more information, or are unable to come in during the scheduled times. You can find contact information for each school through the links listed below.

 

Buhl High School

Seniors:  May 22  All assignments must be turned in. May 26, 8am-4pm  Return textbooks, clean lockers, pay fines/fees Handout yearbooks

Juniors: May 27, 8am-4pm Return textbooks, Chromebooks, clean lockers, pay fines/fees Handout yearbooks May 29 Last day work will be accepted

Sophomores: May 28, 8am-4pm Return textbooks, Chromebooks, clean lockers, pay fines/fees Handout yearbooks May 29 Last day work will be accepted

Freshmen: May 29, 8am-4pm Return textbooks, Chromebooks, clean lockers, pay fines/fees Handout yearbooks Last day work will be accepted.

 

There will be a sign up sheet for students who are interested in Student Council for next school year at check out. Elections will not be held until the fall.

 

Buhl Middle School

6th graders: May 26, 8am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm 7th graders: May 27, 8am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm 8th graders: May 28, 8am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm

Students and parents will enter the gym to return Chromebooks, library books and textbooks. They will then retrieve locker contents.  We are hoping that yearbooks will be here to hand out but do not have confirmation from the yearbook company yet.  

Students will fill out a form choosing their electives for next year. 

 

Popplewell Elementary

Popplewell will have the classroom teachers call and schedule individual times for each student during the week of May 18 through 21.

5th grade students will fill out a form to choose middle school electives at this time.

 

Food Service - Meals

The last day the district will furnish meals will be May 29th. Meals will available by bus, or at the school. If a student is needing summer meals, they can contact the Boys and Girls Club at 208-736-7011 ext. 201 for lunch times that should start around June 1.

If your student has school lunch debt, it is very important to clean that up before the end of the year. You will be able to pay lunch fees when you come in with your student.

 

Graduation

How graduation will be carried out will be decided according to state guidelines and will be announced.

Wakapa Academy will have graduation on June 16.
