Why is a levy needed?
Simply, the renewal of this levy of $350,000 would allow the district to maintain the current level of operations.
What will it cost me?
If the $350,000 levy passes on March 10, 2020; your current Buhl School District taxes paid for this levy will be $4.57 a month per $100,000 of taxable assessed property value.

Continued all-day kindergarten
Increasing cost in operations not covered by state and federal funds.

Covering increased costs for Exceptional Students
Increased Liability Insurance Premiums
Unfunded transportation expenses
Maintaining current programs and current class offerings
Maintaining facilities and completing needed projects
Purchase much needed textbooks

Who will be able to vote?
Voters registered in the Buhl School District of Twin Falls and Gooding counties will be able to vote. To register to vote the individual must:
Be a U.S. Citizen
Have resided in the Buhl School District for thirty (30) days prior to March 10, 2020
Be at least 18 years old on election day
How do I register to vote?
If you are not already registered, you can register at your polling place on Election Day. To register you will need proof of residence and a picture identification card.
Absentee and early voting:
Last day for the county to receive mail-out absentee ballot requests is March 6, 2020. Early voting will take place February 23 - March 6, 2020 at Twin Falls County West, 630 Addison Ave. West, first floor, 8 am to 5 pm / Monday through Friday. Last day for the County to receive absentee ballots is 5 pm on March 6, 2020.
